NBI Clearance
Advice from Benz Rana
Went to NBI yesterday sa Taft, lo and behold lumipat na sila sa Carriedo (clearance lang ha) last Feb 11, buti na lang I went with John at least may car, was planning to commute lang.
Anyway here is what you need to do:
for first timer you may get your NBI Clearance at several major city halls http://www.nbi.gov.ph/clearance.htm yun nga lang if you get it from the City Hall you will get your clearance after a few dyas pa, if sa carriedo and clear name mo then that day you can get it na.
2nd floor
pay P20 to enter the 3rd floor hall maintenance fee EK daw!
3rd floor
get an application form
Step 1 payment P115
4th floor
Step 2 Data Checking
Step 3 Quick Search
Step 4 Image Capture
5th floor
Step 5 Fingerprinting
Step 6 Registering
Step 7 Releasing na
kaso if your case is like me HIT cases meaning di clear you need to go back at the date stamped sa receipt to get clearance. oh hopefully I get it on May 25. anybody knows why my name has a HIT? ano ibig sahibin niyan?
for renewal pwede sa mga kiosk sa malls and lots of other places pa.
PS my kwento baka maging helpful:
I went there Monday 11:30 am I went to check lang what the requirments are and if easy do it na if matagal will go back na lang. So ayun go ako akyat escalator to 2nd floor grabe and dami ng tao as in scary yung escalator coz I was nearing the end and the people are clogging up so buti na lang naka sabit ako kasi umaandar yugn escalator eh. Buti the guard kept asking people to clear the escalator area. I paid P20 then went to the 3rd floor, didnt know may pila pala so naka short cut ako. Ayun sa escalator ng 3rd floor midway you can feel the air changing as in humid and the smell is stinky na. Pag akyat ko grabe, parang pila sa concert sisiksik ka and you dont even know where to go. Grabe I felt claustrophobic as in I know I cant do it so medyo asked around and I knew I really wouldnt finish this today. I asked around for the procedure and read it kasi may mga naka dikit sa pader nung steps. Then got myself an application form then went home na. I asked din what time they open 7am, daw. sabi ko pag 7am ba konti lang tao? Sabi not that konti but di ganito kadami. And mas easy pag early, then the guard sa 2nd floor said 6:30 nagpapapasok na.
ALSO YOU DO NOT NEED CEDULA. Kaasar I went to get cedula days before pa di pala needed. Maski sa entrance ng Carriedo Plaza madaming nagsesell gn cedula kailangan daw, tsak envelope etc etc. You just need PEN and Money P135 total +P2 for the tissue sa fingerprinting.
So this am woke up at 6:20 went to LRT arrived NBI before 7am. Grabe haba ng pila sa bilihan ng P20 buti na lang yesterday the guard said I can use it again pa pirmahan ko lang so na bypass ko yung snake like na pila, hahah was feeling so smug and so happy. Only to find out na sa 3rd floor puno na lahat ng upuan, ok lang coz it is a big place but that meant I was not really really that early. Oh well wait wait lang, then I went to ask what to do next kasi sabi sa steps data check before payment, sabi basta upo lang daw. 8am daw mag open. sige upo upo ang I didnt even have any reading material. anyway around 7:30 may mga dumarating dating na cashier ayun medyo pumupwesto na, shortly mga 7:45 bigla nag open na siya, lahat ng tao takbo to fall in line. Imagine there were 15 windows and lahat yun may pila until the cashier said sige pila kayo diyan di ninyo alam anong oras yan darating. so more went to her pila even if haba na, until the next cashier came and ayun lahat takbuhan again to her pila, until mga 8 siguro I was able to pay na. Went to the next floor and it was all a breeze Note sa Fingeprinting aabutan ka ng tissue than after using the tissue sasabihin P2 hmmph! eh I brough sanitizer kasi nga fingerprinting doon all fingers and brought a pack of tissue so ayun di ako kumuha. Then sa releasing I was one of those na di nabigyan ng clearanc eagad coz nakasulat sa recepit ko HIT dunno what it meant aside from I have a kapangalan, ewan if dahil may record kapangalan ko o ako may record.
Anyway next step is May 25 : )
